#1 - Who the hell are you and where did you pop up from?
Uhm… well. I’m a normal college student, who really should be spending more time studying than drawing… I’ve been born in Croatia (EU) 15th March 1985, but lived in Slovenia, Nova Gorica, from ever since I was 1 month old. I finished the local Fine Arts high school, then did 1 year of Architecture in Ljubljana, got pissed off at the elitist behavior there and booked into Public Relations in Gorizia, Italy.

#2 - Anything you did worth mentioning before SNAFU?
I… think so? ^_^; I had two books of poems published (one in Junior High and one in High School) and a couple of short stories and drawings in the school paper. I also won 1st place in an international (sort of extempore) competition my high school held (Alpe-Adria, 2002) by drawing a set of 4 short comic strips. I’ve done a lot of general out-door extempore gatherings up to 2004. In summer 2006 I got first place on the SNAFU forum comic competition and nearly immediately after got recruited by MangasZene, who published my comic ‘Beyond the Looks’ in the December 2006 issue. Starting January, I work for Ognjišče as well, as an illustrator to a tabloid article.

#3 - How did you get on SNAFU?
To be honest? I’m not sure o_O. ~RisenHellFire linked Dave to the contest comic I did some 6 months after the contest and he liked it. He contacted me via note and… well, little by little, here we are?

#4 - Troll and you: what’s behind Forgotten Tower?
Troll is a sexy bitch, yes, but he’s not my brother, nor is he my boyfriend/husband. *amused* We’re long time friends, we’ve known each-other since we were 7 or so and practically saw each other on daily basis by going to the same schools (although he didn’t take the Art high school program, but the Classic one. He also still owes me a dance from the prom… XP).

Forgotten Tower dates back into 2002, it’s been something I nagged him and 2 other friends of ours to do, because I bumped into things such as MacHall and Keenspace and wanted desperately to have a web-comic of my own. All 4 of us, Troll, Iraphael, Panthera and I were gaming buddies for 2 years by then, covering things from various table role-playing games (D&D, Whitewolf), to general PC games that came out at the time being. Troll, Panthera and I are still at it, whereas Isry’s gotten more into deeper debates and owns his own cultural group called Prizma, but we still keep in touch and he follows FT, I’m told.

The characters from FT represent us to a certain degree; Troll = Darky, Impy = Isryphael, Pablo = Panthera and Silver = me. Here’s a… rather cartoony sketch I did of us in real life some time ago (minus the girl in the background).



This doesn’t, however, mean that what happens in the comics happened in real life – FT remains fiction, or rather an upgrade of real life.

#5 - What’s up with Soul Frontier, then?
Soul Frontier was born at more or less the same time, maybe a couple of weeks later, for similar reasons (McHall, Keenspace…. I wrote poems and stories before that, drew things at random and just wanted to focus all that energy somehow. So with all those ideas blasting through my mind, I asked a classmate and old time friend, Archangel, or Nier (not sure which nick she wants to run with now >_>, but I’ve known her since we were 4 or 5… o.o) to help me out. And that’s what we did, Soul Frontier is laid down from a to z. The original story, anyway.

I’ve started drawing it sometime in the ending of 2005, finally, feeling that maybe I’ve let this project settle down enough inside me to actually start pouring it out. I posted what I did of it in my comic community on livejournal, then uploaded it on DA when I got an account here in May 2006 and continued it some. I’ve let it stale mostly because I wasn’t sure about the style used. SF is not really a fairy tale – the initial script is rather… disturbing at times and the characters themselves tackle some not so every-day issues.

So when Dave proposed I hosted it on SNAFU I was reluctant at first. I brought up some of the issues SF covered and we came to an agreement about not rating it over PG-13, which means… I’ll be leaving certain things for your free interpretation ^_^; It might also mean Nier beating me with a stick and making me post those shady bits elsewhere… but if I will, I’ll tell to those interested.

It’s on hiatus now because I can’t draw two comics at a time (for now?) and because I’m still rewriting the script some.

#6 - Please read my script/comic!
I… will? When I find the time. I’m the middle of my exams, after all and even just updating SNAFU/eating/sleeping are things I can hardly afford to spend time on >_<; So be patient with me. Also; mind that I’m no expert on the matter, my high school never covered comic making and I bet the real comic-makers would have a lot to say about what I draw… >_> Oh and. If you want script/text analyzing, you should really go ask ~TechnoTroll or maybe the other veterans on SNAFU. I've only just began doing this.

#7 - Can I have your MSN/Yahoo/AIM/Skype?
Please don’t ask me these things? X.x I use my IMs for personal reasons that don’t usually involve SNAFU (unless I’m talking to Troll). I’m not trying to sound bossy or above anything, but I seriously couldn’t keep up with things if I allowed free access to these. It already happens that when I log in some 8 windows in 3 different languages pop up… x_x

#8 - Friend me on LiveJournal/GreatestJournal/Myspace!
My livejournal account is dead, I’m just keeping it to moderate my communities, and my GreatestJournal is locked to the few people I know in real life, and so is my Myspace, only that the latter includes my music interests and focuses more on my music projects (Troll and I are in a post/progressive rock band, too).

And I want to talk to you, too, believe me. Send me a note on DA or mail me. It might take me some time to reply, but ultimately I always will. ^_^

#10 - Will you marry me/have my babies?
XD… I’m flattered, but I’m afraid I must refuse. I’m virtually claimed 2 times over (by ~sanctuarydreams and ~LarlarUlysses ) and IRL I’m dating Photoshop 8 (but I eventually cheat on it with Pixia).

#11 - OMG you draw yaoi!?!!??!!one!!!?!eleven!?
Yes… I have for 7 years now. I support any form of love between (willing, human) individuals. If they like it, see me care – it’s their choice. What is my choice in the matter, is not viewing things I don’t like, such as gore, vore, furry, futari… And I don’t see how that would make me or the people that do view those things sick in any way, shape or form. Likes aside - it’s a choice; I tend to gag really bad at 90% of any-orientation romance on TV/ in books/ games/ anime/ manga, be it gay, straight, whatever – I’m more interested in the story/image in itself.

I have not invented yaoi, nor am I its flag bearer, so flaming me won’t make the amount of it on the web decrease in the slightest. What will, I don’t know, nor am I really interested either way. As far as my gallery viewing is concerned; the images that contain yaoi or yuri hints, will be marked as such in the title. I’m backdating this to every image I ever drew, but there’s lots and my time online is short, so in the mean time – make sure you check the thumbnails before you view, please.

Why don’t I seclude my yaoi drawings to my y!gal? Because I’m not comftable with posting there for quite a set of reasons. I keep that account for posting things that I can’t on DeviantART and to keep in touch with my friends there.
